Elections BC – Updated Voting Results

You can get the current vote count results for any provincial riding here from the ElectionsBC website: 

Final count is in progress and will conclude on or before May 29, 2013.

Final count voting results will be refreshed at 12 noon and 4:30 p.m.

I’ll update things when the final preliminary count is finished shortly. There’ll be recounts in some ridings after that.

I think that the Advocational Party actually increased their vote count from their 2005 manipulations of the rules. I’ll double check on that … plus the who/why/when/where/how aspects of these Advocational folks will be the subject of more upcoming posts.

  1. The election of Kyllo was of no surprise to me. I had several small wagers on Kyllo winning. The big surprise was the Liberal win. I, like most people I know expected an NDP sweep. Two points that seem to be overlooked is the general feeling that Dix and Moe Sohota cannot be trusted to run the province. The other point is the fact that the Liberals went out and succeeded in recruiting top notch popular candidates. In any event we are going to have more of the same for four more years.
