Do you have a family doctor?

Survey launches this Saturday

January 27, 2014, Salmon Arm, BC: A Community Health Care Survey will launch online on Saturday, February 1, 2014.

The initiative, led by the Shuswap North Okanagan Division of Family Practice, is designed to assess the state of primary health care in Vernon, Salmon Arm, Armstrong, Enderby, Lumby, Sicamous, Sorrento and surrounding areas. Residents are invited to answer an online survey that includes questions like: do you have a family doctor?, is it important for you to have a family doctor?, and which medical services have you used in the last year?

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and the link will be available at www.divisionsbc.ca/sno. The aim is to generate at least 1200 responses.

This Community Health Care Survey is part of a provincial initiative called A GP for Me, led by the Doctors of BC (formerly the BC Medical Association).
