Kofi Annan declared that the US invasion of Iraq in 2003 was illegal and was not sanctioned by the UN security Council or in accordance with the UN’s founding charter. Eleven years later President Obama (and possibly “the coalition of the willing”) must grapple with putting the toothpaste back into the tube. Meanwhile Bakr al-Baghdadi and his ISIL troops blast their way into Baghdad to once again inflict horrors on the innocent inhabitants of the city once known as Babylon “The Gate of the Gods”.

  1. This Earth might be a lot more peaceful if the Yanks would start staying home and minding their own business. Plenty to clean up in their own backyard.
