BC Kids Are Worth $1,000 Less ?

Under the BC Libs, each and every BC student is now funded $1,000 less than the Canadian average. A few years ago, our per head funding was at the Canadian average.

This metric best exemplifies the chronic under-funding that parents, school boards and BC teachers see daily. Please contact your local MLA and demand a plan to rectify this … and keep on asking why there is still no action.

  1. I have a feeling that they’re trying to promote private schools – wonder if anyone else feels the same way?

  2. $40 per day, $7720 per year, about $800 less than they allow local schools which is already $1,000 below the average.

This looks like a gift to those with kids in private school and a challenge for parents who have never thought of anything different. Try looking for a quality private school slot for $40 a day.

This is like knocking 1% off personal income tax and adding 3% in MSP user fees and calling it a win for families.
