Blind Bay trail planning-Thurs! Shuswap Trail Alliance

11 am – 1 pm: Help Us Plan the Mt Tuam Mountain Bike Pump Track Trail – Cedar Heights, Blind Bay – on Thursday, August 27th, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. (Meet at the upper entry on Mt Tuam Cresent just off Cedar Drive). Join CSRD Parks and the Shuswap Trail Alliance and help plan the new Mt Tuam Mountain Bike Pump Track Trails. Trail design specialist and mountain bike expert, Sutra Brett, will be on site to lead us through a crash course on designing a trail loop for kids and young at heart to improve their trail riding skills. 7 pm: Community Forum: Balmoral BC Timber Harvest Plans – Shuswap Estates Community Association (SECA) hosts a community forum, this Thursday, August 27th at 7 pm (at Shuswap Lake Estates) with BCTS leadership, and representatives from the Shuswap Trail Alliance, Fire Fighters, SECA, and the White Lake Residents Association to discuss the upcoming BCTS timber harvest plans in the Balmoral area. The discussion will include plans to maintain the integrity of the Balmoral trail system which the Shuswap Trail Alliance originally planned with BCTS, CSRD Parks, Recreation Sites and Trails BC, and local community leadership. All welcome.
